Proper maintenance of lifting round webbing slings extends service life and guarantees lifting safety for stage rigging and industrial hoisting. Inspect the sling visually before every lift. Check the outer cover for cuts, abrasion, fraying, melting, chemical stains or illegible labels. Immediately remove damaged slings from service and do not attempt self-repair.

Protect the sling from sharp edges during lifting. Use edge protectors to avoid fibre cutting. Never drag slings on rough ground, knot or twist them under load. Keep polyester slings away from corrosive chemicals, welding sparks and high heat.

For cleaning, rinse contaminated slings with clean water and mild neutral detergent. Air dry naturally in shade; never use heaters or direct sunlight for drying. UV radiation weakens synthetic fibres and reduces rated capacity.
